Construction Project Manager / Estimator
Saywell Contracting Limited has been providing General Contracting and Construction Management Services for over 24 years throughout British Columbia.

The company has extensive experience with multi-residential, commercial, leasehold and institutional projects, excelling in the building envelope remediation field.

We are currently seeking an experienced
Project Manager to join our growing construction team.


Responsibilities:


  • Possess strong estimating and organizational skills. Capable of monitoring and supporting site operations in all aspects from inception to successful completion, including cost control, planning and scheduling.
  • Experience and sound knowledge of all construction terminology, documentation, contract documents, drawings, specifications and scopes of work.
  • Understand, enforce and manage contractual responsibilities, contract documents, subcontracts and dispute resolution.
  • Handling of all change management estimating, negotiating and processing.
  • Effective communication, management and leadership skills in fostering and maintaining positive relationships with existing and new clients, consultants, subcontractors and fellow team members.
  • Coordinate and ensure compliance of all applicable Quality Control/ Assurance requirements.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 35+ Years' experience in capacity of Project Manager within the construction industry on projects exceeding $2 Mil.
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient with MS Office (Outlook/Excel/Project/Word).
  • Spectrum software experience is an asset, but training is available.
  • Considerable knowledge of industry standards, guidelines, procedures, and practices.
  • Knowledge and strong abilities in project execution activities such as planning, project controls, scheduling and job costing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, solid team player with positive attitude.
