This position is based out of sales and service dealership in Langley, BC.


THE OPPORTUNITY
The Used Truck Sales Consultant will be responsible for selling line of heavy and medium and vocational trucks.

If you have exceptional customer service skills, a strong background in sales and marketing, and experience selling heavy trucks or related products, then we want to hear from you


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own a territory and consistently execute on sales strategies to acquire new customers and grow existing customer base
  • Generate new business leads as well as foster existing customer relationships
  • Use sales calls and regular site visits to build strong and trusting relationships with customers
  • Develop and maintain productive sales activities, use CRM to track and review actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and achieve sales goals
  • Engage customers through superior product and service offerings as well as demonstrated product expertise.
  • Assist customers in selecting vehicles by using a consultative sales approach, demonstrate thorough product knowledge and expertise
  • Write complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies.
  • Follow up on all postdelivery items and special requests to be sure that all customer expectations are met.
  • Introduce customers to service and parts department personnel to emphasize the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service department
  • Some travel will be required to meet with current and potential customers.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • Postsecondary education in sales and marketing
  • 3 to 5 years' of related experience with a demonstrated track record of sales success
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills
  • Excellent sales skills, preferably in heavy truck sales or related industries, we will also consider sales leaders from other business to business sales disciplines
  • Excellent communication skills with strong negotiation skills
  • Highly motivated and driven to success
  • Strong computer skills with experience with CRM tools.
  • Ability to travel the assigned territory on a regular basis
