- Lead the shift and accomplish the required plant maintenance by directly supervising the coworkers in the maintenance department.

- Responsible for accurate reporting in maintenance activities, daily shift reports, weekly overtime, time and attendance.
- Make recommendations to improve the plant maintenance programs, equipment uptime, department efficiency and equipment performance.
- Analyze production reports and preventative maintenance programs to plan and assign work for maintenance coworkers to address production needs as efficiently as possible.
- Establish and meet annual goals in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager.
- Motivate people to achieve objectives through communication and feedback.
- AEC/ DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate - Millwright or Electrician preferred.
- Previous extrusion industry background will be preferred
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory role in manufacturing environment, supervising Electricians and Millwrights.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building qualities
- Demonstrated ability to lead, communicate, present information, influence others and build credibility at all levels of the organization
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical drawings, procedures and specifications
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
- Minimum five years of related leadership experience in a maintenance environment
