H&V Carpeting Inc. is seeking a general laborer to join our team. You will assist our team with flooring installation. Applicants must have familiarity with flooring installation. Training will be provided to individual with a willingness to work and motivated attitude.Position Description:
- Remove existing flooring and discarding material
- Clearing the work area from dust, debris, and obstruction
- Laying carpet, ceramic, tiles, etc.
- Ongoing training when required
- Work in compliance with all health and safety regulations as set out in Occupational Health and Safety Act
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Schedule:
Monday - Friday. Crew meets at our shop at 7:00 am and drive to the job sites together.
Pay will be based on relevant experience.
Starting Date ASAP
Job Types:
Permanent, Full-time
Salary:
$19.00-$25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Experience:
- flooring installation: 1 year (preferred)
- tile setting: 1 year (preferred)
