Your Opportunity

Our National Office is looking for a Technical Solutions Specialist to join the Enterprise Architecture team and own the following responsibilities:

Oversee the design, development, and implementation of end-to-end IT integrated systems
Participate in technology intake coordination, onboarding and assess for compatibility
Map current systems and integrations. Identify problems and reporting on compliance of technical configurations to ensure they meet IT standards
Develop, contribute, and update technical documentation for standards, policies/procedures, solutions design, product handovers for new and existing technology deployments
Communicate work progress, task updates, and other relevant information to project stakeholders, business and enduser community, and management
Coordinate tasks, resources, meetings, information for nonproject activities
Understand and adhere to BDO IT's standards for building and implementing technology solutions
Understand technology deliverables and challenges. Provide technical designs, architectural consulting expertise, direction, and resolution assistance
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Development, Project Management, Infrastructure, Enterprise Application teams to plan, coordinate technical resources required and ensure a technical implementation plan is in place
Assist with escalated major incidents when teams are unable to find resolution or issues span across multiple teams
Conduct research, information gathering and evaluation of emerging technologies, industry, and trends in support of infrastructure, web development efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and technology flexibility
Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as technical, analytical, and problemsolving ability
Ability to work flexible hours when required

Your experience and education

You have a postsecondary degree in Information Technology or related discipline
You have 3+ years working experience designing and implementing technical solutions at an enterprise scale
You are familiar with automation tools and building integrations between complex systems
You are familiar with the Microsoft Cloud Platform including Office 365, Dynamics, Microsoft Power Platform, and Purview
You have experience with Azure governance and management tools including Azure Policy, Azure Landing Zones, Azure Resource Manager, and BICEP
You have knowledge of software development methodologies and programming languages
You have experience with core Microsoft technologies including Windows Servers, SQL Server, Clustering Services, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft System Center
You have experience in Microsoft identity services including Active Directory Federation Services and Azure Active Directory
You are familiar with networking concepts including firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, and basic routing
Industry certifications with Microsoft are preferred
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of technical and business stakeholders
You are organized, efficient and good at managing multiple projects simultaneously
You have strong problemsolving skills
You demonstrate the ability to present ideas and solutions in businessfriendly and userfriendly language
You are highly selfmotivated and selfdirected
