Description

The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of a small team of material handlers and overseeing incoming and outgoing shipping activities ensuring the accuracy and completeness of shipments.

In charge of managing the inventory and ensuring 100% accuracy in the system.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage and complete regular cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and ensure inbound receiving is accurate and reflective in the system.
Conducting regular DART audits communicating issues and findings in a timely manner.
Inspecting shipping and receiving documents, confirming accuracy and system is updated.
Managing RM's into and out of Production, keeping Production up to date and accurate.
Requesting timely adjustments on inventory if discrepancies are found. Investigating and finding root cause of inventory discrepancies.
Entering data into the computer system and generating reports.
Assisting team members from time to time with counting and reconciliation.

Skills and Qualifications:

35 years' experience in warehousing and inventory control.
Postsecondary education in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience is required
