Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a talented administrator to join our team. This is an ideal role for anyone looking to contribute to a not-for-profit, community-minded organization. OSCA offers flexible hours, a remote/hybrid work arrangement, and competitive wages.
The Administrator will report to the Executive Director and work closely with a team of staff to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-
Cycle Bookkeeping:
Bank and credit card reconciliations, Entering payables and payroll into SAGE accounting software, Entering and tracking revenues as reported from Amillia registration software, Providing monthly financial statements to the Treasurer.
- Managing tax returns and remittances with CRA
- Processing payroll for parttime employees (currently with Wagepoint software)
- Ensuring accurate and timely employee management (T4's, ROE's, etc)
- Benefits and payroll administration for fulltime employees
- Preparing and providing reports and data for an annual audit
Qualifications:
- Certificate in bookkeeping or accounting
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in payroll administration with knowledge of payroll laws and standards
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Selfdirected and able to adapt to changing priorities throughout the year
- Knowledge of Sage, Amilia, and/or Wagepoint (or other payroll processing software)
- Understanding of accrual accounting and the cycle of seasonal business
