Salary:
$64,776 - $81,744 annually

Monday to Friday, Full Time (36 hours per week)

Location:

Regina Head Office - This role is eligible for hybrid - this means you'll have the flexibility of working from home and in the office (in Regina), on a scheduled rotation once probation requirements have been met.

Until then, the successful incumbent will be expected to work on-site, full-time.

Key Accountabilities:

Website Content Design, Management and Development- Performs daily website operations, maintenance and Content Management System activities.- Manages the integration of media such as audio, video, photo, PDF and social media content.- Coordinates content implementation with writers, developers and business areas.- Identifies and implements opportunities to refine communication and information architecture.- Conducts technical and quality assurance checks during staging and production.- Understands both business and user goals for content requests and assist providers to develop content to fit the target user/brand experience.- Monitors and ensures that content developed or provided meets SGI's brand and design system guidelines.- Recommends and coordinates search engine optimization activities.- Collaborates on the development of labeling/search systems.- Maintains documentation, version tracking, and distribution of files related to projects or daily website operation.- Provides training and support for web publishing and management tools to business areas that may update pieces of the public sites using the content management system.- Visualizes organizing concepts quickly through sketching and other rapid prototyping methods and translates concepts into effective information architectures or navigation schemes.- Works collaboratively with designers and developers on interface functionality.- Prepares concise information architecture documentation (site architectures and task flows, etc.).


Planning and Research- Participates in requirement planning sessions and documents applicable approaches.- Reviews business and technical requirements provides estimates and feedback.- Assesses projects' user experience needs and dynamics.- Reviews, researches and reports on competitor web initiatives, consumer trends and behaviours in content consumption.- Conducts research and prepares summary reports on best practices and trends for usability and web-based experience management.- Analyzes web statistics and feedback, identifies issues and opportunities and prepares reports for web delivery teams and management.- Collaborates in the establishment and maintenance of SGI's design system.- Collaborates in the establishment and maintenance web user personas.- Collaborates on usability testing and focus groups.- Interprets, reports and integrates user testing research results.

Technical Knowledge & Skills- Knowledge of the process and techniques needed to manage Internet content. Knowledge of accessibility standards, constraints, and web best practices.-Education & Certifications- A four-year degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study such as Social Sciences or Information Technology, or defined equivalency.- Certification courses in interaction design, UX design or accessibility design

Experience years' experience in UX design or communications.


Pay Range:
$64, $81,744.00
