Responsibilities:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop project plans and schedules in cooperation with the functional management team
  • Develop and improve metrics and processes for project tracking and risk mitigation
  • Support engineering management in planning required resources for successful execution
  • Define and track metrics which help engineering management drive execution excellence, including time to market, team efficiency, and silicon quality indicators
  • Work collaboratively with the AMD Program Management community to develop, adopt, and share best practices and new initiatives
  • Defining and managing key budget and Head Count deliverables/schedules and driving cross functional activities
  • Managing horizontally across several functional organizations, including Finance and Human Resources
  • Working handinhand with engineering counterparts across the global sites to plan/align budget, head count, operational efficiencies

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Semiconductor industry Project Management experience (Silicon Chip/ASIC )
  • Agile Project Management and familiarity with industry standard tools including Jira
  • Good presentation and leadership skills; with ability to lead technical discussions
Strong interpersonal skills

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in managing complex, interrelated projects, programs, and functions
  • Team player with a commitment to meeting deadlines and an aptitude to thrive in a fastpaced multitasking environment

EDUCATION:

  • University degree, Electrical Engineering degree & PMP Certification would be an asset
