Job Description:

Responsibilities include:

Working under the direction of project manager
Carrying out inspections and preparing all necessary data and reports for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements
Preparing engineering drawings with the use of Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D
Creating plans, profiles, grading, surface drainage, land drainage, wastewater piping, and roadways for conceptual to final designs
Coordinating project drawings with project managers, engineers, and collaborating with other disciplines.
Ensuring that project needs are met in a timely and effective manner and meet conformance with CAD standards

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

Civil Engineering Technology diploma + 2 years of experience in civil/ municipal projects
1+ years experience with Civil 3D and Microstation

Preferred Qualifications

Ideally 5+ years + Experience with Bentley Microstation/OpenRoads and Autocad Civil 3D
Strong communication skills along with excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities and working in a team environment
Comprehensive knowledge of Bentley Microstation, AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Experienced in PC use with MS office proficiency
Highly organized, with significant attention to detail, and able to prioritize multiple tasks/work assignments
Adaptable and proactive
Experience with construction inspection and related field work
Surveying experience, use of GPS survey equipment
