    Description
    At IDRF we seek a visionary Director of Marketing and Communications for a 18-month contract.

    This pivotal role will not only lead our marketing strategy to promote IDRF's mission globally but will also expand and deepen our digital footprint.

    As part of the management team, you will be critical in empowering communities worldwide with our sustainable programs.

    Craft and oversee a comprehensive branding and marketing strategy to spotlight IDRF's charitable activities at national and international levels.

    Lead innovative digital marketing strategies, driving brand awareness, online engagement, and traffic.

    Manage and mentor a marketing and communications team to maintain a strong brand voice and foster growth within the team.

    Develop and execute marketing campaigns for IDRF's diverse initiatives, including monthly, emergency, and seasonal programs.

    Manage and enhance our digital platforms including websites, social media and email marketing, focusing on accessibility, aesthetics, and storytelling of our impact.

    Oversee website redesigns, optimize for SEO, and create engaging advertising landing pages.
    Develop and oversee the production of print marketing collateral, including mailers, brochures, videos, and other promotional materials.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with organizational goals and establish cohesive messaging.
    Analyze donor data and marketing KPIs to refine campaigns and increase effectiveness.
    Stay ahead of digital trends, recommending proactive strategies to bolster IDRF's online presence.
    Manage the marketing budget, ensuring that marketing resources are allocated effective and remain cost-effective.

    5 years' experience in leading successful marketing initiatives, with a strong preference for experience in the non-profit sector.
    ~ Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field.
    ~ Proficiency in digital marketing principles and platforms, including Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and social media advertising.
    ~ Demonstrated creativity in content creation and storytelling with an eye for design.
    ~ Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.
    ~ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
    ~ Familiarity with the Canadian digital landscape, inclusive fundraising, and accessibility practices.
