Description

We are currently seeking a friendly and professional host/hostess to join our team at Milestones Kelowna.

As the first point of contact for our guests, the host/hostess plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive dining experience for our patrons.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Greeting guests upon arrival and seating them in a timely and courteous manner
Managing the waitlist and ensuring accurate wait times are provided to guests
Assisting with reservations and coordinating seating arrangements
Providing menu recommendations and answering questions about the restaurant and its offerings
Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and surrounding areas
Assisting with takeout orders and ensuring accuracy of order details
Managing payments and handling cash transactions
A friendly and welcoming personality
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
A professional and polished appearance
A basic understanding of restaurant operations and terminology
Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required

This is a part-time position with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. We offer competitive compensation and opportunities for growth within the company.
