Your Role on our Team:

As member of the IT Department, the Business Relationship Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining a relationship between IT and the business division, and for increasing the value realized from IT assets, investments, and capabilities.

The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) is responsible for understanding the business, assisting in the prioritization of projects, ensuring that projects align with the technology that provides maximum return on investment, and collaborating with IT Leadership Team to develop the IT strategy that supports the strategy of the business division.

The manager is a liaison between IT and the business division, and a trusted advisor.

The Business Relationship Manager manages major software implementation and / or technical projects, as assigned.

The BRM is also responsible for managing the product lifecycle of all major software products in use in the respective business division.

The Business Relationship Manager will support the business to define their requirements and objectives that need to be achieved.

Contributes to defining and managing the business scenarios, assuming the role of "integrator" between Business Systems, IT infrastructure and the business needs.


In this role, you will:


  • Participate in the Strategic Planning and Applications Roadmap development process with the business partners to understand priorities and impact of the chosen solutions.
  • Monitor quality, progress and performance of programs and taking all necessary corrective actions to ensure that all elements of the plans are being delivered.
  • Collaborate with an IT multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality Business Systems and IT Infrastructure.
  • Provide support and guidance across departments on IT Services such as Incident Management, Change Management, Service Request, etc.
  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor for all stakeholders.
  • Act as key liaison between the IT Team and all departmental business group for all aspects of IT including escalation and resolution of portfolio specific risks.
  • Maintain oversight of Business Systems portfolio, provide status updates to both IT and business teams and act proactively to identify and resolve risk and issues in the execution of the portfolio.
