Position Description

The Information Management Group/Information Technology at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is currently seeking a Manager,
IT Security.

Reporting to the Director of Information Technology & Security, the Manager,
IT Security is responsible for all activities related to CAMH
IT Security including planning and overseeing the operations of the enterprise's security solutions, establishing an enterprise security posture through policy, architecture and training processes.

Managing CAMH
IT security staff and CAMH vendors to ensure negotiated contracts Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for Information Security are met.


  • Key Accountabilities_
  • Manages CAMH's third party service provider to deliver and operationalize the
    IT Security service agreements.
  • Manage procurement processes for
    IT security technologies services, including RFIs and RFPs, bid evaluation, and final contract negotiations
  • Manage contracts and servicelevelagreements, ensuring that CAMH receives full value for its expenditures
  • Lead
    IT Security related projects to ensure CAMH's
    IT security technologies and processes remain current and effective
  • Develop security strategies for existing and future CAMH needs
  • Develop
    IT security policies, standards and awareness training to support CAMH needs and strategic priorities
  • Ensures
    IT Security service meets the changing business requirements of the organization.
  • Plans operations requirements three to five years in advance, develop and manage related budgets.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains
    IT security operational standards and procedures, Threat Risk Assessments (TRA) Audits, Vulnerabilities assessment and remediation, etc.
  • Develop, implement and manage
    IT Risks and controls
  • Participant in working groups and steering committee groups as required.

Qualifications

Please Note:
This full-time, permanent position is NOT part of any bargaining unit.
