John Ross & Sons Ltd. is a fourth generation, family owned, scrap metal recycler.

The company is the largest scrap metal recycling facility in Atlantic Canada and has been in operation for over 70 years.

John Ross & Sons Ltd. specializes in purchasing and processing all scrap metals. We are currently looking for a Front Desk Cashier Clerk to join our team in Goodwood

Hours of Operation:
Monday to Friday 7am-5pm. Saturdays 7am-12noon as scheduled.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Office Manager, the essential functions of the Administration Clerk will include, but are not limited to:

Reception Duties
Customers Service
Scaling Truck Weights
Document Processing
Data Entry
Maintaining Purchases Spreadsheets
Cash Dispenser and Reconciliation
General Office Filing
Assist all departments with administrative tasks as and when required
Keeping work area clean and organize

Knowledge/Experience:

24 years' experience in a cash environment; able to multi task in a fastpast industrial environment with a positive and friendly manner
Highly organized with an ability to prioritize a changing work load
Attention to detail is a must
Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable will be considered an asset

Compensation:
John Ross & Sons Ltd.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Wage:
$18/hr plus benefits.

From $18.00 per hour
