Applications will be assessed according to the requirements and OCT qualifications outlined in this job posting, and in accordance with Policy P.146.HR Equitable Recruitment, Hiring and Promotion.

A minimum of 3 qualified applicants will be offered an interview, including:

At least three (3) teachers, who are currently employed as an occasional teacher with the OCDSB, who have the required OCT qualifications, and who best meet the criteria outlined in the job posting.

If fewer than three (3) qualified applicants apply, all qualified applicants will be interviewed.

Application Process

Teachers can teach a maximum of three (3) classes within a semester, which equals 100%.

For those working at IB sites or Alternate sites, a teacher can teach a maximum of six (6) classes across the school year, which equals 100%.
