    Description

    We are looking for a hardworking and experienced Roof Installer, preferably with previous solar experience.

    Skills

    • Background/Knowledge in solar installation projects
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
    • Experience with thoughtful problem solving

    Day in the life

    • Wattage Pay
    • Complete projects within established policies and procedures.
    • Complete projects within time frames and budgets.
    • Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety.
    • Assemble the solar array racking, properly seal all roof penetrations, and install all relative equipment.
    • Work exceptionally well with others, competently delegate work amongst the crew and resolve potential crew issues.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues.
    • Communicate with customers professionally, respectfully, and honestly, answering all questions and complaints to the best of your ability

    Job description:

    As a vital member of our solar installation team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional solar services to our customers by working with fellow installers and electricians to ensure efficient and high-quality installations. You will train with our electrical and installation crews to ensure you are prepared for this job.

    Requirements:

    • Must live in the Calgary area
    • Previous experience working on residential roof
    • A reliable vehicle to get you to the warehouse every morning
    • Put safety as a priority
    • Other construction and installation experience
    • Being able to lift 45-50lbs
    • Comfortable climbing up and down ladders
    • Basic knowledge of hand tools
    • Able to work full time hours a week)

    Preferred:

    • Previous solar installer experience
    • Has a fall arrest safety ticket

    Compensation:

    We provide wattage-based pay, enabling you to optimize your earnings. Expected annual compensation ranges from $65,000-85,000/year.

    Day in the life:
