What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Manager, Wire Investigations within our Customer Service division. This position falls under our Corpay Cross Border line of business and is located in Toronto, ON. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced Operations team in Foreign Exchange and Payment delivery. You will be responsible for providing oversight of all of Corpay Cross Border Solutions' Operational deliverables. You will report directly to the Director of Global Operations (Exception Management and regularly collaborate with Banking partners.

Role Responsibilities


The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Support the Director, Global Operations (Exception Management), and local senior management in servicing overall operations with mínimal supervision;
  • Oversee the Wire Investigations service delivery of our core operations in North America which entails posttransaction support through inquiry and case management minimizing client and beneficiary disruption
  • Drive and support the global standardization of the Wire Investigations function;
  • Work closely with internal business units to improve service delivery and workflow efficiency;
  • Foster strong working relationships with our banking partners and other service providers;
  • Take ownership of service issues driving resolution with key internal stakeholders;
  • Motivate staff and increase the productivity of direct reports;
  • Participate in regular meetings as a member of the global management team;
  • Identify and implement consistent operational best practices;
  • Staff Performance management including performance appraisals, training, and development plan execution;
  • Comply with all applicable policies, standards, guidelines, and controls; and
  • Ad Hoc projects as requested.
Education & Experience

  • Degree/ Diploma in Business, Finance, or related field;
  • 5 + years of previous experience in an administrative capacity;
  • Experience in the financial/banking industry with exposure to and understanding of global payment formatting requirements (major, minor, and exotic markets)
  • Understands and uses SWIFT formats such as MT103, MT202, MT199, MT999, etc.
  • 3 + years of previous managerial experience;
  • Strong leadership skills; organizational and administrative skills;
  • Ability to organize, plan and schedule activities and attention to detail;
  • Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills and comfort in dealing with individuals across all levels of the organization;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Fully proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook);
  • Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets with advanced formulae;
  • IT literate with the ability to quickly learn new systems;
  • Nice to have understanding SQL coding, PowerQuery
  • Experience with SWIFT banking system, payment processing and payment investigations;
  • Familiarity with EFT/ACH/SEPA settlement rules and regulations;
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work independently under tight deadlines in a fastpaced environment; and
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately with mínimal supervision.
