Job description


The role of a Bookkeeper is to enter a company's financial information into a general ledger using software specific to the accounting and financial industry.

With the aid of computer software, be able to update records and forecast, track income and expenses.

  • Enter data, maintain records, create reports and account financial statements using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Track and verify transactions recorded in the general ledgers and prepare related financial statements.
  • Perform partial checks of the posting of journal entries and reconcile accounts.
  • Process accounts receivable/payable, handle and prepare cheques for vendors as well as for utility, tax and other bills in a timely manner.
  • Calculate and prepare tax remittance forms, tax payments, workers compensations forms, pension contribution forms and other government documents.
  • Prepare tax returns and perform other personal bookkeeping services.
  • Record and prepare day to day statistical, financial and accounting transactions.
Prepare the monthly profit and loss statements for the hotel


Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 24 per week


Salary:
$20.00-$24.00 per hour
