Glen Arbour Golf Course is looking for a full-time Facilities Coordinator that has an eye for detail, a "can fix it attitude" and technical knowledge of basic building repairs.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Facilities Coordinator is an integral part of the team.

They are responsible for the successful day-to-day upkeep of the Glen Arbour facilities by maintaining an accurate record of security information, completing internal repair requests, and liaising with external contractors.

The Facilities Coordinator will work with all Department Heads and Supervisors on a regular basis to keep our facilities in perfect condition.


Some of the responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for basic building repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, mechanical and security systems on the property.
  • Responsible for the daily management and tracking of repair requests including training staff to utilize an online work order system effectively that meets the needs of Glen Arbour.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external contractors.
  • Act as the primary contact for thirdparty contractors and ensure safety standards are followed, work quality is acceptable, and questions are answered.
  • Assist with monthly building inspections by completing inspection checklists and reporting any outstanding safety issues.
  • Responsible for maintaining a general knowledge of all IT, A/V equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and clean environment in clubhouse common areas, member areas including in house laundry by sweeping, dusting, and emptying garbage's etc.
  • Order and maintain standard inventory listing of building supplies to mitigate running out of stock.
  • Responsible for distributing and tracking all building keys, computers, and printers.
  • Review and document all security details for the designated buildings, by creating a standard operating procedure for closing and opening of buildings, reporting any systems failures.
  • Assist in managing and recording any onpremises accidents along with prevention plans for future accidents.
  • Monitor the Waste Program on the property with a goal to reduce pickup frequency over time.

Qualifications, Skills and Education Requirements

  • Proven experience in facilitate maintenance
  • Minimum 2 years experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work efficiently with team members and contractors.
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems is an asset.
  • Exceptionally detail orientated, well organized with an ability to problem solve.
  • Strength in multitasking responsibilities.
  • Embraces lists, tracking assignments to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and computer skills.
  • A current, valid driver's license is required, and must be maintained throughout the course of employment.
