About the team:


The Finance and Operations Team at Capco is responsible for preparing, analysing, and advising on the financial status of the firm.

We focus on operational excellence by ensuring accuracy and compliance with global financial rules and regulations.


About the Job:


As the Financial Controller, you will be working alongside high level industry experts to analyse and report on the firm's financial position.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the financial controls and internal reporting needs of the region.

This individual is also responsible for assisting in analytical support including advanced Excel modelling, KPI reporting to regional CEO and Group C Suite Executives, and operational process improvement.


What You'll Get to Do:


  • Report on financial status of the P&L by analysing results, monitoring variances and recommending actions to the Leadership Team
  • Act as a trusted financial business advisor to the Local and Global Leadership Teams
  • Manage the timely periodic closing of month/quarter/year end close cycle including review and booking of journal entries
  • Lead the preparation, review, and presentation of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and longterm financial plans
  • Explanation of deviations between planned and actual figures as well as deviation analyzes of the current month to the previous months in cooperation with the operations team
  • Produce the deliverables required by FP&A and Group Finance, including financial analysis and the requirements of internal, external and regulatory audits
  • Oversee the Accounting function including direct management of AR/AP/Payroll team members including offshore resource
  • Management of the debt portfolio to ensure timely invoicing and collections, and no aged/bad debt.
  • Detailed review and analysis of financial clauses of customer contracts
  • Support the management of relations with external/internal auditors and Group Tax.
  • Management of the preparation of local financial statements and tax returns
  • Responsible for maintaining a tight financial control environment in accordance with Sarbannes Oxley (SOX)

What You'll Bring with You:


  • CPA/ACA/CA/CIMA/ACCA Accounting qualification
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years' experience in the professional services industry
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with all levels and be a team player
  • An executive presence and the ability to work alongside and train client teams
  • Working knowledge of Peoplesoft and/or Anaplan is a plus
