About us


Urban International School (UIS) is a private high school in Toronto inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education in Ontario, Canada.

Over the last decade, we have offered specialized academic courses that are designed for students who wish to pursue higher education in Canada and around the world.

Based on the program students wish to pursue in post-secondary school, UIS prepares a customized study plan that underlies one of our four streams: Engineering, Science/Math, Business, Arts or College.

Most of our graduates are accepted in prestigious universities such as the University of Toronto, University of British Columbia, McGill University, among many other Canadian and international universities.


UIS has a friendly and dedicated team of Ontario-certified teachers who teach courses from Grade 7 to Grade 12 to a diverse student body that includes students from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and South America.


About the Position

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Representation of the school in promotional events, such as educational fairs, local high school events, various agents' events, etc to increase Korean student registration.
  • Carry out aftersale services and ongoing client relationship management via telephone, internet, and local inperson visits.
  • Regular daily reporting about the development of new contacts, correspondence as well as about the arising issues.
  • Preparing and producing marketing materials for local and overseas clients such as educational agencies, parents, and students when required
  • Responsible for a basic student admission task along with the admission department such as invoicing and school letter.
  • Responsible for developing study plan along with the academic department.
  • Responsible for organizing Korean student's accommodation schedules along with the accommodation department.
  • Previous knowledge and experience with Canada Student Visa Experience
  • Provide transition advising to the new students who are getting settled in Urban International School so they can easily get adapted the new life/school environment.
  • Continue to provide a good academic/school service to the current students through the school communication system.
  • Provide a wide range of student wellness and activity services when needed.
  • Assisting Guidance Department in enrolling students in compliance with school policies and procedures
  • Assisting Guidance Department in preparing an orientation/information session on programs to Korean students.
  • Assisting Guidance Department in determining and scheduling of our courses for upcoming semesters based on the enrollment status of Korean Students.
  • Organizing and creating digital/physical file folders for new/current Korean student such as Ontario Student Record along with Guidance Department.
  • Understand and have a standard level of knowledge on the Ontario Curriculum including OUAC and OCAS System.
  • Works collaboratively with staff members and ready to work extra miles no matter what the task is.
  • Other duties as assigned by the senior management team.

Qualifications and Skills
-
Speaking Korean and English Fluently:

  • Previous knowledge and experience with the educational industry such as high school, post-secondary institutions or ESL schools.
  • Able to work duties outside of school hours and weekend to participate in educational fair or parents/students counselling with Asian Time Zones as necessary
  • A degree in education, languages, marketing or related field
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong administration and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven goaldriven student service campaigns in both on/offline
  • Woluld be good to have the driver licnese.

Job Types:

From $40,000.00 per year
