Under the responsibility of the Banquet Supervisor, the supervisor actively participates in the organization of banquet events. He organizes and supervises activities related to banquet and meeting services according to established standards. When required, it also performs supervisory tasks for the outlets of the restoration.Tasks and responsibilities
- Motivate, supervise, train and mentor service employees under his / her responsibility;
- Supervise the smooth running of meals and coffee breaks;
- Distribute work and plan schedules for servers and team members;
- Perform administrative duties related to payroll and tip distribution;
- Ensure the highest quality of customer service and satisfaction during and after the service and handle complaints where applicable;
- Organize the assembly and disassembly of banquet halls;
- Participate in the coordination of events and ensure the smooth running of these events;
- Ensure effective communication within his department and with other departments of the hotel;
- Ensure the optimal use of all facilities and respect established budgets;
- Conduct daily inspection of service areas and ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, health and safety standards;
- Attestation of College Studies (ACS) or Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in hotel management or in F & B;
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a similar function;
- Very good knowledge of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook);
- French and English language proficiency (knowledge of another language will be considered an asset);
- Strong customer service and anticipation skills;
- Recognized leadership and professionalism;
- Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure;
- Strong skills in communication, teamwork and team management;
- Autonomy and dynamism;
- High availability and flexibility in working hours;
