    About the role

    Hybrid | Full-time | Entry Level

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work as a member of multidisciplinary teams using data science and machine learning techniques.
    • Address day-to-day bugs in backend systems and databases.
    • Create and execute unit tests, integration tests, and other testing strategies to maintain software quality and reduce the need to address day-to-day bugs.
    • Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
    • Deploy and test applications in cloud environments using AWS and Azure platforms.
    • Contribute to the development of intelligent solutions by integrating machine learning functionalities into systems.
    • Bring new ideas to the table and unleash your creativity to solve current and future challenges.
    • Collaborate on existing projects with the Data Science research teams, as well as define and tackle your own project.
    • Collaborate with a high-performing, diverse team of individuals.
    • Quickly adapt to new tasks and assignments as development continues.

    About you :

    • E xperience with Python and Python web development (Django).
    • Be comfortable working with a remote team that is based in Toronto/Montreal.
    • Excellence in oral and written communication.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Currently pursuing or has completed a technical degree such as computer science or engineering.

    Physical Demands:

    • Conduct general office work at a desk , which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities .
