We are looking for Registered Care Aides to join Select Senior Services Ltd Care Team.Job Type:

/part time/full time
Salary:
$26.93
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Care Manager and under the supervision and direction of the registered nurse or designate. Duties are performed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Provide holistic personal, emotional, and psychosocial care to residents
- Provide personal hygiene, oral care, skincare, toileting, bathing, feeding, dressing, and grooming
- Use a variety of specialized equipment such as; electric beds, mechanical lifts, tubs, and wheelchairs
- Actively participate in facility meetings and education programs.
- Assist in admission, discharge, and transfer of residents.
- Be fluent in verbal, written and electronic communication in English
- Ensure highest resident safety, and wellbeing
- Monitor, report, and document changes in resident's health status
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an approved Care Aide, RCA, Nursing assistant, or PSW program
- Registered and in good standing with the BC Care Aide Registry
- Current First Aid, WHMIS, and Food Safe Certificates.
- Must be in good health and be physically able to perform all aspects of the position.
- Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred.
- Proof of COVID vaccinations.
Madison Care Center. Madison Care Centre is centrally located in the Como Lake community of Coquitlam, B.C. The building was beautifully constructed and opened in 2008. The Madison Care Centre works in collaboration with the Fraser Health Authority
