ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST

Position Summary:

Alpha Controls is currently seeking an Administrative Specialist to handle a variety of duties at our Markham headquarters.

Using your knowledge and experience, you will provide support to many departments within the company, including Purchasing, Accounting, Sales, and Service.


What you will be doing:


  • Expediting product and service orders
  • Proactively notifying customers of any delays and working closely with suppliers to minimize such delays
  • Assisting Procurement with issuing and receiving purchase orders
  • Following up on quotes that have been issued by Sales & Service
  • Invoicing and collections
  • Maintain QA documentation
  • Provide exceptional service to our customers with outstanding communication and response time

Education and Experience:


  • Business administration degree or equivalent experience a must
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an administrative position

  • Strong verbal/written communication skills and computer skills
  • Demonstrate initiative, able to work independently, and be selfmotivated
  • Excellent customer service outgoing, friendly, team player, positive attitude
  • Organized, detail oriented, ability to multitask
  • Ability to deal clearly, concisely, and effectively with customers and coworkers
