Description
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team at Oakwood Resort.

As a Line Cook, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation are maintained.

You will work collaboratively with our talented chefs to create exceptional dishes that delight our guests.


Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and guidelines provided by the head chef.
  • Execute food orders efficiently and accurately during service, maintaining consistency and quality.
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Ensure that all food products are handled, stored, and prepared safely and in accordance with sanitation guidelines.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the head chef or kitchen manager.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Assist with food preparation and mise en place as needed.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working as a line cook in a highvolume kitchen, preferably in a resort or upscale dining establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Culinary degree or certification from an accredited culinary institution is a plus.
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.

$20.00 per hour
