    The opportunity:

    The Risk and Compliance Manager will oversee the organizations' comprehensive risk management program, assessing and identifying risks that could impede the reputation, safety and security of the organization. This person will continually evaluate the readiness of security and regulatory compliance tactical operations to ensure security and regulatory compliance program effectiveness and compliance to government directives and Top Aces policies.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the corporate risk and control assessment reporting process manage and maintain infrastructure elements (e.g., risk management reporting, including reporting to senior management)
  • Conducts policy and compliance audits, which will include liaising with internal and external auditors;
  • Assists in completion of company wide risk assessment and development of annual audit plan
  • Design, implement and execute the end to end process for the Global Enterprise-Wide Compliance Risk Assessment ("CRA")
  • Initiate and sustain constructive relationships with key compliance stakeholders
  • Identifying areas for continuous improvement and ensure sufficient control and risk mitigation is in place
  • Actively manage mitigation plans and monitor events/incidents (includes - root cause analysis, action plan/rectification)
  • Design, in collaboration with stakeholders, an efficient, effective and standard internal controls framework and implement this across the functional teams
  • Develop and implement a governance plan for security and regulatory compliance;
  • Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare reports and policies.

  • Requirements:

  • CIA or CRMA designation preferred
  • Bachelors degree in business or related field
  • At least 5+ years of related experience
  • Experience in Risk Management, Finance, International Law or related field required.
  • Previous experience with Export Control (CGP, ITARS etc..) & CSP preferred.
  • Special Working Conditions

  • Ability to travel and work varying hours to accommodate a global workforce, as needed.
  • Security Clearance Requirements/ CGP / ITAR:

  • Position requires Level II Clearance with the Canadian Government and the ability to gain access to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.
