Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is actively recruiting
Admitting and Registration Clerks to join the team at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.

As an Admitting and Registration Clerk, you will be responsible for performing admissions and registrations to the facility


Duties may include:

  • Admitting patients to the facility by obtaining required information
  • Registering patients to departments for tests/appointments
  • Printing and preparing charts, armbands, hospital cards, and forms for each type of admission
  • Receiving, sorting, labeling, and transporting specimens where required
  • Processing referral requests and entering physicians' orders
  • Scheduling, canceling, or rescheduling patient appointments
  • Performing general clerical and office duties

The starting salary for this position is
$ per hour.

Who you are


You possess a diploma in an administrative support program and have experience with medical terminology and medical transcription, or you have several years of recent and related work experience.

You have written and spoken competence in English (Advanced) and French (Intermediate).
