Perks of being a school bus driver:

Training is provided at no cost to you.
Extra hours available.
Safety Meetings / Employee Engagement events.
No evenings or weekends.
You will be paid a minimum of 4.75 hours per day up to a maximum of the time scheduled for the route.

What you bring to the bus:

Cheerful and positive demeanor, with a "can-do" approach.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess, or be able to obtain, a valid provincial Class B Driver"s License.
Must have a clean Drivers Abstract, clear Criminal Background check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
Your willingness to make a difference in a child"s day every day.

Responsibilities:

Report for work ontime at 6:45 a.m. for the morning shift and 2:00 p.m. in the afternoon.
Zonar Pretrip every time you are assigned a vehicle you have not driven in a 24 hour period.
Cover any route provided by dispatch using any vehicle assigned by dispatch.
Fuel and clean the buses when necessary.
