Overview


Reporting to the Lead of Operations in Global, the Operations Support Specialist is a member of the Learner Support Team and is responsible for assisting the Lead with the development of international education operations at Robertson and is responsible for the day-to-day operations and guidance of the Robertson Global Team to support students and faculty.


Key Responsibilities

OperationsResponsible for keeping the schedule is current and proactively completed- Assists the Lead with ongoing scheduling changes (as needed)- Collaborate with the Lead to ensure the instructor coverage for courses for Robertson and/or affiliate programs- Update Section Entries- Provide Final Class list for the affiliated programs- Assist in the Final Grade Update- Assists in creating courses in the LMS- Ensure courses assigned are tracked and recorded accurately- Responsible to finalize re-enrollment and/or customized schedules for students referred by the Student Support- Ensure instructors are enrolled in the learning environment ahead of course start dates- Ensure the centralized textbook database is kept current.- Work with the Academic Support to ensure e-books are available and the third party platform is ready for students.- Manage purchase orders, with approval from the Lead, for class supplies- Accurately and effectively communicate operational feedback to internal and external departments.- Develop and maintain processes for Robertson Global as required- Responsible for ensuring that the instructor satisfaction rate and instructor payroll costs KPI is on track and troubleshooting with Senior leadership when necessary- Work on projects and reports as needed by the Robertson Global Team- Coordinate with other teams such as Admissions, Student Support, Practicum and Employment Support for international student's successful completion of the program- Perform other duties/participate in special projects as assigned- Participate in events for international students and/or international team


Instructor SupportCollaborate with the Lead on recruiting, onboarding, and orienting new instructors- Assist Global instructor faculty as required- Assist the Lead in planning and conducting the instructor meetings- Coordinate with Teaching and Learning Team to answer student concerns regarding content and instruction- Keep faculty updated of new changes or new directions- Coordinate with Teaching and Learning Team to plan and arrange trainings and professional development opportunities for instructors


Desired position Requirements:

Post-secondary education- 3-4 years of administrative work experience in education or a comparable environment- Very strong organizational skills- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment- Highly self-motivated and self-directed; goal-oriented with high-level attention to detail- Strong problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills Ability to work in a diverse, inclusive environment- Understand compliance requirements of FIPPA- A clear criminal records check


Hours of Work
Monday to Friday - Regular Business Hours, some evening work required (11AM-7PM)


Salary :
$42,000.00 per year
