Bilingual Training Manager (English/Mandarin)

**Description: - Permanent Full Time- We are looking for a Bilingual English + Mandarin remote Training Manager to play an integral role within our Distribution, Learning and Development Team.
What you will do

  • Deliver virtual training on Canada Life tools and planning, market development, product knowledge, business related technology and administration processes to advisors, in conjunction with head office business partners.
  • Manage a virtual training environment, paying attention to technology requirements to ensure training needs are met, in addition to just in time training.
  • Provides foundational educational learnings and training that lay the groundwork for successful Advisor business engagements.
  • Effectively influences and demonstrates the value to Advisors in adopting best practices relating to products, sales, technology, and compliance processes.
  • Create and build development training content including resources, job aids and power points.
  • Connect with business partners, foster relationships, and uncover new ways to work together and collaboratively on various initiatives.
  • Implement innovative ideas and best practices into facilitation engagements to drive engagement and participation.
  • Communicates and modifies the delivery of content in a manner that effectively influences, engages, and entices Advisor audience to adopt sales and technology best practices to elevate and enhance business opportunities.
  • Support the adjustment of learning tactics and training processes resulting in elevated Advisor performance and adoption.
  • Stay on top of industry requirements and contribute to developing new training requirements as new certification, designation or licensing requirements evolve over time and support the delivery of this training.

What you will bring

  • Fully bilingual in Mandarin and English
  • Solid understanding and experience with adult learning principles, and training techniques (i.e., ice breakers, role playing, brainstorming or idea generation, scenario building, breakout groups etc.)
  • Virtual facilitation experience with a positive trackrecord of audience engagement, and strong on camera presence and delivery
  • High comfort with, and ability to effectively demonstrate, a variety of training activities including virtual facilitation small group work, large group discussion and experiential exercises.
  • You will lead and deliver product knowledge, technology, sales, and client focused approach training to new and experienced advisors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team.
  • Energized by the work while continuously thinking of ways to enhance our programs through innovation and outside of the box approaches through idea sharing.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Confident in computer literacy and experience in Microsoft teams would be an asset.
  • Certificate in Adult Training & Development is a strong asset.
  • The base salary for this position is between
    $61,900:
  • $114,500 **annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
