Join our energetic and positive team at Strategic Group, Calgary, as the Associate, Real Estate Investments. You will assist with the analysis of operational and financial reporting, acquisitions and dispositions, asset valuations, and market research.

Together with the Director, Real Estate Investments, you will focus on creating deal recommendations, development pro formas, and market research.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and analyze operational data
  • Liaise with accounting, asset management, investment, development, leasing and property management groups in data collection
  • Assist with analyzing financial results and organize them as required for presentation in both internal and external reports
  • Track and provide assistance with optimizing property tax savings
  • Assist with acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and other transactions
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
  • Prepare development Pro Formas and complete market research for potential developments.

Job Requirements:


  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate (ideal but not mandatory)
  • 1 year of related experience; or relevant workterm in a financial/investment institution, real estate firm, development or construction firm
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically in Excel.
  • Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities, and adapt to new ideas and constant changes
  • Ability to use initiative and selfmanaging skills to work independently with mínimal direction and respond effectively to issues that arise
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret relevant transactional and financial statements and information
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Extraordinary critical thinking and problemsolving ability
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; both verbal and written
Monday to Friday, semi-remote with the ability to work from home and in the office.

Salary: 70K +
