Required Skills & Experience
Post secondary education in Business or a related field.

3-5 years experience of scheduling preferably within a manufacturing or production facility.

Experience in a manufacturing setting would be considered an asset.

Experience working with ERP systems.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Proficiency with formatting would be considered an asset.

Demonstrate appropriate reading, clerical, and math/accounting skills, including the ability to understand written instructions, and perform routine calculations.

The ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.

Excellent communication skills.

Self-driven, able to work independently.

Knowledge of Southland Trailers would be considered an asset.

Continuously looking for ways to improve processes and environment.

LEAN Manufacturing experience is an asset.


Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and maintain regular scheduling of top levels for 17 different lines.

Ensure scheduling is adjusted for daily rates.

Release parts from Materials Processing and.

Regular communication with coaches regarding production, making any changes as needed.

Work with sales team to meet production needs.

Track weekly key performance indicators comparing bad demand and actual releases.

Parts set up for planning parameters.

Assist production as needed.

Complete daily 5S requirements.

Other Ad Hoc duties as assigned.
