Responsibilities
Company Marketing

  • Work with Management to oversee and execute PR and marketing communications.
  • Ensure staff are appropriately informed about corporate media policies and programs.
  • Provide or coordinate media training, coaching, and support when necessary.
  • Keep up to date with current real estate and investment trends.
  • Research information necessary for investor communications and other marketing initiatives.
  • Build and maintain a network of essential media contacts, including print, broadcast, and online.
  • Develop credible story angles and proactively pitch print, broadcast, and online media.
  • Identify media trends, news cycles, and opportunities.
Investor communications

  • Prepare all client materials and ensure that they abide by the company's marketing compliance policies.
  • Write and edit clear and compelling marketing materials including press releases, fact sheets, backgrounders, and articles.
  • Prepare presentations to investors about transactions and updates.
Digital Marketing

  • Monitor and update all social media posts and ensure best practice standards are maintained.
  • Update and prepare content for social channels and the company website ensuring that it is kept up to date.
  • Seek and develop opportunities for positive exposure to increase brand awareness and enhance the company's reputation
  • Keep CRM up to date with contact information.
Event management

  • Coordinate corporate events for investors and external contacts.
  • Coordinate all aspects of webinars for investor presentations.
  • Maintain conference calendar & coordinate conferences with external contacts.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree and/or advanced diploma in communications, public relations, marketing or related field.
  • 3 + years' experience as a communications professional and progressive media relations experience in either an agency or corporate setting.
  • Knowledge in the real estate industry and ability to research trends.
  • Understanding of communicating to different profiles of investors including high net worth individuals and institutional investors.
  • Ability to think outside the box and provide unique story angles that will raise company's profile.
  • Established relationships with key local and national media contacts.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with both internal and external contacts.
  • Proven track record securing positive media coverage.
  • Superior problemsolving, decisionmaking and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Ability to manage corporate social media accounts i.e. Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook.
  • Excellent project management and event planning background.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to develop press materials and presentations.
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills

Salary:
$65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
