We are looking for a TOP Credit Manager with strong financial acumen paired with effective communication skills and the ability to select and implement appropriate communication strategies will aide in ensuring successful credit approvals, efficient collections, and accurate financial reporting, ultimately contributing to the company's financial success.

The primary outcomes of the Credit Manager's role are effective management of accounts receivable, development and adherence to credit policies and procedures, and the maintenance of positive customer, employee, and vendor relationships.
Primary Job Functions
- Maintains accounts receivable accounts to align with company goals and objectives, including assessing creditworthiness
- Develops, enforces, and manages the corporate credit policy and related procedures
- Handles customer calls for overdue accounts, and initiates collections, seizures or other legal actions as needed
- Performs daily review of existing customer accounts to evaluate creditworthiness.
- Conducts credit references
- Maintains Pinnacle/Corcentric accounts, invoices, and payments
- Provides ongoing credit training for frontline staff to enhance credit management skills
- Manages and cultivates relationships with external entities such as Equifax, D&B, Sterling West, and MetCredit
Qualifications
- A College and/or University degree or diploma in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field is required. A combination of education, relevant experience and training will be considered
- A minimum of 5 years credit or finance experience is required
- A minimum of 2 years supervisory or management experience is considered an asset
- CCP or ACI designation is required
- Professional certification from the Credit Institute of Canada or other relevant certifications are considered an asset
