We are currently seeking a full-time Dispatcher/Shipper
to join our team in Mississauga.
SCHEDULE
Wednesday-Sunday 1pm-9:30pm (With the requirement of overtime as needed)*****The Dispatcher is responsible for communicating and coordinating all outbound orders with couriers to ensure that Calea meets its contractual agreement and delivery requirements. The Dispatcher role encompasses responsibilities of a shipping coordinator, route planner and warehouse shipper.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assigns routes and prints labels for deliveries being prepared for shipping.
- Ensures that all orders are accurately labeled, scanned, routed and checked prior to being shipped.
- Responsible for changing the status of all orders to successful or unsuccessful.
- Responsible for notifying Client Services of all unsuccessful deliveries and changing the order status in the system.
- General warehouse duties including ice pack management, receiving returns and unsuccessful orders, and other tasks as required.
- Responsible for movement of temperaturecontrolled items.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Effort:
The Dispatcher is required to assign couriers, retrieve packages, print and affix labels, scan barcodes, and prepare shipments. Must be capable and willing to lift up to 50 lbs. with frequent visits to cold storage areas. Role is 100% standing and frequently physically demanding.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- High School diploma
- Minimum 2 years of dispatching experience in the GTA preferred
- Strong computer skills in MS Office
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Good customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels internally and externally
- Selfmotivated and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and handle fluctuating workloads
- Excellent organizational and problemsolving skills
- Selfstarter with excellent continuous improvement skills
- Ability to work in broad temperature range environment
- Flexible, closing shift requires frequent overtime to complete day activities
- Proven ability to adhere to standards & procedures and maintain confidentiality
