Position Summary- As part of the Cardiology Associates of Niagara team, the Echocardiography Technologist plays an essential role in providing quality and patient centered care. The Echocardiography Technologist is responsible for producing quality diagnostic Echocardiograms in keeping with Cardiology Associates of Niagara protocols. While maintaining personal and patient safety, the Echocardiography Technologist is responsible to work within a team environment to complete scanning of Inpatient and Outpatient clients in an accurate, efficient and professional manner.
- Diploma in Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an accredited College
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer with current and valid registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years' experience
- The ability to make frequent and independent decisions when performing technological procedures and assessing diagnostic results
- Working knowledge of echocardiology procedures
- Demonstrated experience recording patient history and documenting impressions of examinations to the Radiologist
- Ability to provide an excellent patient experience evidenced by good verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated care and safety of patients prior to, during, and following examination
- Excellent team member skills able to collaborate with other members of the health care team
- A solid track record of maintaining privacy and confidentiality in the workplace
- Reliable, consistent attendance is a requirement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Part-time hours: 20-35 per week
Salary:
Up to $40.00 per hour
