The City of New Westminster Parks and Recreation Services is seeking a dynamic dance instructor to join our team to help develop our sessional performing arts programs.

You will conceptualize, design and implement dance classes for families, preschool, children, and youth out of Centennial Community Centre (and soon to be təməsew̓txw Aquatic and Community Centre) and/or Queensborough Community Centre.

Requirements include:

Educational background in dance either through continued professional development or through completion of accredited programs.
Passionate about dance education and sound previous instructing experience within a recreational and/or cultural studio setting.
Kind and approachable demeanor.
Responsible and punctual.
Excellent classroom management skills.
