Job Description:


Reporting to the Director of Airline Cost, the incumbent is responsible for measuring the performance of the business unit and the group's activity sectors and for communicating information to managers.

In addition, the incumbent will be a change agent in the optimization of financial processes.

More specifically, the responsibilities of the position are:

  • Plan, coordinate and ensure the control of activities related to performance measurement;
  • Manage and follow up on the sector's optimization projects;
  • Ensure optimal use of the department's resources;
  • Ensure the control of the various compensation plans specific to this sector;
  • Manage the redesign of financial and operational analysis reports produced by the sector;
  • Coordinate and supervise the various developments related to the accounting system and operational systems related to finance;
  • Manage and ensure the development of a team of accounting analysts;
  • Establish and maintain privileged business relationships and act as an advisor to managers;
  • Supervise and review activities related to the production of monthly financial statements;
  • Plan, ensure the production and followup of the budget and financial forecasts;
  • Present analysis results and provide explanations to assess performance.

Qualifications:


  • Recognized professional designation (CPA);
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience, including four (4) years of experience in personnel management;
  • Bilingualism (oral and written);
  • Accomplished mobilizing leader;
  • Critical thinking and ability to challenge others;
  • Business and results orientation;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite tools;
  • Mastery of SAP (an asset).
