Job Summary:

The
Analyst - Performance Services is responsible for activities and tasks associated with Navblue Aircraft Performance products and services. The analyst is expected to be fully competent in the use of NAVBLUE Airport Analysis tools and procedures. This role also requires direct customer interaction to facilitate troubleshooting and Engine Failure procedure design and optimizations.


Analysis is primarily performed using our in-house production tools; but a great deal of manual work is also part of daily production.

The daily work and responsibility areas in the Performance Services group consist of management and interpretation of authority data, updating our databases, calculating safe procedures in case of engine failure, and calculating maximum performance limitations for the aircrafts.

Much of the work is performed in close co-operation with our customers.


Responsibilities:


  • Evaluate and manage incoming Aeronautical Information Service (AIS) documents/date applicable to the products and services.
  • Evaluate and manage customer information applicable to the products and services.
  • Maintain and update aerodromes and customer airport obstacles databases.
  • Deliver according to agreements concerning quality requirements, delivery dates and regulations.
  • Deliver according to internal agreements concerning deadlines and specifications.
  • Design, calculate and produce Engine Failure Procedures and Balk landing Procedures.
  • Maintain close liaison with customers.
  • Participate in the development and documentation of internal workflow processes.
  • Where applicable; act as a primary point of contact for customers
  • Work closely with the Quality team and Data Team
  • Participate and contribute actively to internal tool set development (Python coding/scripting).
  • Participate in training and development of Level I analysts.
  • Advise and assist Level II analysts for advance procedure development and/or complex issues.
  • Troubleshoot and explore solutions for customer issues
  • Contribute/author guidance documents/manuals used internally as well as shipped externally.
  • Manage customer specific projects and present reports and results to customer

Education:


  • Education in Aeronautical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience in airline operations

Experience:


  • Minimum 2 years of experience with relevant workplace experience.
  • Experience with aircraft performance products
  • Flight education at Commercial Pilot's License (CPL) level is an asset

Technical Systems Proficiency:


  • Advance level proficiency in use of MS office/G-Suite
  • Proficient with common technical and nontechnical workflow management tools sets used by the department. (Freshdesk, Jira, KACE)
  • Database management (Basic SQL)
  • Basic coding/scripting. (Python)
