Reporting to the Manager, Business Systems and Receivables, the Business Analyst ensures system, data, and process best practices are adhered to.

The Business Analyst is a high level functional expert and capable of acting as team lead on projects, as well as assisting with the training of less experienced staff.

Rate of Pay:
$37.10 per hour - $46.37 per hour

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Qualifications:

Successful completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Sciences, or equivalent
Successful completion of Formal Process Improvement Training
Successful completion of Project Management Program, Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt) or Chartered Professional Accountant
Two (2) years recent related experience
Proficient knowledge of regulatory, management and financial accounting standards (e.g. MIS, GAAP)
Advanced understanding of technology and business risk and controls within a financial environment
Demonstrated ability to research and assimilate a large quantity of diverse information
Excellent customer service and communication skills both verbal and written
Possess strong organizational skills while ensuring attention to detail
Proficient skills in processcentric thinking
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing process redesign
Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's Mission, Vision and Values
Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

Immunization Requirements:

Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis.
Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step) and COVID vaccine series.
