Reporting to the Manager, Business Systems and Receivables, the Business Analyst ensures system, data, and process best practices are adhered to.


The Business Analyst is a high level functional expert and capable of acting as team lead on projects, as well as assisting with the training of less experienced staff.

Predominantly Remote

Regular Full-Time

Rate of Pay:
$37.10 per hour - $46.37 per hour

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week


Qualifications:


  • Successful completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Sciences, or equivalent
  • Successful completion of Formal Process Improvement Training
  • Successful completion of Project Management Program, Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt) or Chartered Professional Accountant
  • Two (2) years recent related experience
  • Proficient knowledge of regulatory, management and financial accounting standards (e.g. MIS, GAAP)
  • Advanced understanding of technology and business risk and controls within a financial environment
  • Demonstrated ability to research and assimilate a large quantity of diverse information
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills both verbal and written
  • Possess strong organizational skills while ensuring attention to detail
  • Proficient skills in processcentric thinking
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing process redesign
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's Mission, Vision and Values
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

Immunization Requirements:


  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis.
  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step) and COVID vaccine series.
