Who we need

Reporting to the Head of Sales Operations and Business Development, we are looking for a customer-service and team-driven Business Development Representative to join our growing team.

You will help build and grow our client base and revenue directly through research and cold-calling; and indirectly through data analysis to support the design of sales processes and strategy.

We have a hybrid work model so you are welcome to come into the office whenever you need.

You may be invited to join the team 1-2 times a month on-site for sales meetings at our Oakville headquarters.

What you'll be doing:


  • Business development

You will:

  • Develop and execute a prospecting strategy through cold outreach.
  • Qualify warm leads and move them through the sales funnel.
  • Research background data on the market, prospect companies, and competitors.
  • Present data to upper management.
  • Collaborate to develop new sales collateral and run salesdriven campaigns to targeted markets and accounts.

You will bring:


  • The experience. You have exceptional customer service and relationshipbuilding skills gained through cold outreach and prospecting. You have leveraged LinkedIn, built sales cadences, and booked meetings. You are proficient with Salesforce, Gsuite, PowerPoint and Excel. Ideally, you have worked in a manufacturing environment.
  • The ownership, motivation and drive. You are a selfstarter with a desire to build something from the ground up. You take pride in helping people engage with technology and exceeding your targets. You are continuously seeking knowledge and opportunities. You can independently own and meet your deliverables.
  • The communication skills. You have flexible and effective verbal, presentation and written abilities. You are an empathetic and active listener, able to drill down through intelligent questions and offer technical solutions to business operations needs. You can navigate customer anxiety, respond with urgency, and translate technical solutions for a nontechnical audience.
