As a
Continuous Improvement Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing organizational performance by analyzing, maintaining, and improving processes.

Your expertise will drive efficiency, productivity, and overall excellence within the manufacturing and warehousing environment.


Responsibilities:

Process Analysis and Problem Solving:

  • Analyze financial data, identify inefficiencies, and propose solutions.
  • Evaluate financial performance, assess investment opportunities, and recommend strategies to improve profitability and costeffectiveness.
  • Proficiently interpret weekly/monthly financial results and translate them into actionable improvement initiatives on the floor.
  • Analyze existing company processes and procedures.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop enhancement strategies.
  • Investigate shortfalls, issues, and complaints related to current business processes.
  • Train process owners on problem solving and any lean six sigma tools.

Performance Standards and Norms:


  • Establish norms and standards for company performance at the line and SKU level (labour, material, and overhead cost)
  • Monitor CI projects and organizational processes.
  • Contribute to the National CI program and deliver annual objectives based on the project charters.

Collaboration and Communication:


  • Contribute heavily to engineering and maintenance projects specially in areas such as: costbefit analysis, business cases, SOP development and change management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance productivity and staff satisfaction.
  • Communicate ideas and opinions effectively to other members of management.
  • Updating the KIPs dashboard and present the daily/weekly/monthly results to the operations.
  • Helps as a facilitator to run the daily performance tracking huddles on the floor.
  • Work closely with S&OP team to make the Milton site "the center of excellence."

Team Management and Training:


  • Build and manage crossfunctional teams to design and execute improvement initiatives.
  • Train, mentor, and guide team members in new processes
  • White belt/Yellow belt/Green belt training

Requirements:

-
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Process Management, or Operations.

Experience:

-
7-10 years of leadership experience in process optimization, operations, or business improvement management.

  • Familiarity with
    data analytics,
    packaging and filling equipment, and
    material usage optimization.
  • Proficiency in leading
    Continuous Improvement (CI) teams.

Industrial Engineering Background:


  • A
    Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering is preferred. Or at least 710 years experience in Industrial Engineering field
  • Knowledge of
    automation projects in the context of
    consumerpackaged products is advantageous.
  • Green/black belt certification would be an asset.
