Nature's Outfitters is an established property maintenance company, since 1995, located in Burnaby, B.C. We are offering full-time positions for Landscape Maintenance Technicians. We are looking for energetic and motivated individuals that have great leadership qualities and have an eye for detail. Our crews maintain strata townhouse complexes & commercial sites. We are looking for individuals who want steady long-term employment to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
Plant and maintain gardens, including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees
Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners for various landscaping tasks
Operate power tools such as linetrimmers, hedge pruners, lawn mowers, power edgers, leaf blowers, aerators, etc.
Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment

Qualifications:

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable mode of transportation to get to shop
Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related field preferred
Knowledge of various plants, trees, and flowers commonly found in landscaping
Ability to operate hand tools effectively and safely
Proficiency in using power tools for landscaping tasks
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within deadlines
Work well individually and with team
Open to feedback and ability to take direction
Punctual and reliable

BONUS - Snow plowing experience is extremely beneficial (driving plow truck, riding ATV with plow, salting by truck and hand spreader, shoveling, etc.)

Wage will depend on your work experience and knowledge (starting $22/hour + 4% vacation pay).
