Job Summary:


The Diversity Equity and Inclusion Coordinator supports the Manager of People and Culture in providing research, analysis, and education about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within Archway to ensure Archway is meeting its goals and objectives of strengthening employee diversity and inclusion in alignment with Archway's Diversity Statement.

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and delivering information sessions to raise awareness of the need to identify diversity within Archway, developing and conducting surveys, compiling data, preparing reports, and providing follow-up to identified gaps as a result of the surveys.

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Coordinator will be responsible for preparing accommodation quarterly reports to highlight activities conducted within Archway to support staff's accommodation needs to ensure equitable access and inclusion.


Your Role:

Archway's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Coordinator with the People & Culture team contributes by:

  • In collaboration with the Manager, People & Culture, designing and developing surveys to conduct to Archway staff.
  • Conducting activities to strengthen and promote diversity, equity and inclusion as identified in the Inclusion & Diversity Committee (IDC) proposed plan and the agency strategic plan.
  • Providing awareness sessions to Archway staff pertaining to the need for selfidentification to ensure Archway meets goals and objectives for diversity and inclusion and is representative of the demographics and client population in the community, within British Columbia, and Canada, as identified through 2021 Census Population Statistics from the Government of Canada, and other related statistics data from the BC Ministry.
  • Participating in Archway's Inclusion and Diversity Committee (IDC) as a member and seek input in the design and development of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) surveys and data collection, to ensure privacy of information is being respected.
  • In collaboration with Archway partners, assisting in the development, execution and results analysis of the selfidentification survey and inclusivity survey.
  • Networking with community partners and participating in meetings to collaborate and share information as it pertains to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Our Offer:


  • Wage: $23.26 per hour to $24.50 per hour.
  • A part time position at 28 hours per week.

Getting an Interview-you will be considered if you have:


  • Post secondary education in Human Resources or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Experience in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.
  • Experience in data collection, interpreting data, and compiling reports.

  • Strong verbal, written and active listening skills
