Description
Duties of the maintenance worker will include but are not limited to:- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairing equipment, replacing light bulbs, and fixing minor issues.
- Assist with cleaning operations such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Perform general cleanup of all areas of the building as directed.
- Assist in maintaining outdoor areas by shoveling snow, raking leaves, and performing other seasonal tasks as needed.
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance issues and report them to the Operations Manager.
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Remove garbage and recycle daily and prepare bins for weekly pickup.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Skills/Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a maintenance or cleaning role, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Ability to work well under mínimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Comfortable working in an environment with stairs.
- Physically stamina and capable of lifting and moving heavy objects as necessary.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
