Responsibilities:

Operate sit down counterbalance forklifts (e.g. propane and/or electric)
Responsible for picking and staging orders in the warehouse.
Use laptop and barcode system to manage inventory by identifying, cataloguing and recording the location of the product and reporting shortages
Unload production line and put product away in designated areas in the warehouse
Ensure processes and systems are being followed properly and that paperwork is filled out accordingly and accurately and forwarded in a timely manner.
Continually look for ways to improve process efficiencies in the manufacturing of corrugated products.
Receive product and enter information into EFI system accurately and in a timely manner
Ensure that all equipment is operating properly and inform appropriate personnel of any problems.
Ensure that the folding carton area is kept clean and is always organized
Count inventory as required
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating the forklift
Other general warehouse related duties as requested by appropriate company personnel.

Qualifications:

Current forklift certificate Class 1, 4, 5 required
Effective communication skills and ability to follow written instructions
Ability to work well with people in a team environment
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
