What you'll do


The SRE Scrum Master role assists in the planning, monitoring, and managing the day-to-day operations and delivery aspects of the Supply Chain SRE team.

The role assists in managing team productivity and works to ensure the optimal health of the Supply Chain platforms by driving and prioritizing the delivery of resilient IT systems.

This role is also an active participant in all aspects of Site Reliability Engineering, including technical vision, telemetry and observation decisions, automation strategy, solution delivery, and incident and problem management.

The Scrum Master reports to the Manager, Supply Chain Tech Dlvr.

  • Setup and manage the SRE Operations Intake Process
  • Help to create and prioritize SRE Backlog. Ensure OKRs & defined roadmap are being prioritized appropriately. Track all backlog items until delivery
  • Advises, coaches, and leads Agile teams on Agile values, practices, and processes and ensures that the Agile team is fully functional, productive, and focused on the sprint goal
  • Lead all scrum ceremonies and events including daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews
  • Introduce, lead, & coach agile best practices such as sprint planning, Kanban, burndown, & Scrum
  • Communicate and provide timely status and operational reports to Sr. Leadership
  • Oversee and report on deliverables; help to define assignments against schedules and milestones
  • Contribute to knowledge management for all agile & scrumrelated processes. Documentation is thorough and uptodate
  • Collaborate with admins and L3 developers to prioritize problem root cause analysis and fixes based on incident and error analysis to achieve highly reliable infrastructure, systems, and integrations
  • Conduct Post-Incident Reviews to identify what's working and what's not, document findings and work with various teams to implement the learnings
  • Document all changes following controls, procedures, and documentation standards and raises issues and concerns with recommendations for followup action
  • Identifies dependencies with other teams and determines how to manage those dependencies without impacting the progress of the team.

What you bring

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in project delivery with agile teams
  • Agile practices including Scrum/Kanban, ceremonies (standups, backlog refinement, spring planning)
  • Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSM) or Certified Scrum Coach (CSC) or equivalent formal education in Agile
  • Experience with Collaboration & Change Management tools: Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, / MS Visio
  • Experience in an DevOps or operations environment
  • Previous experience working in an SRE environment which includes, telemetry, CI/CD, & platform automation.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging & telemetry tools like New Relic, Sumologic, Grafana, Azure Monitor
