TITLE:
Golf Ranger


POSITION STATUS:
Full-Time - Temporary (8 weeks - Canada Summer Job) (Non-Union)


SCHEDULE: 35 Hours per week (flexibility required as needed)


REPORTS TO:
Program Director

We take a person centered approach that aims to support and make a positive difference in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.

The Range is a golf driving range located next to the beautiful Niagara Escarpment in the Milton/Halton Hills area.


PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Grounds Keeping
  • Regular cleaning and maintaining of equipment
  • Dealing with the public
  • Stocking Shelves
  • Assisting the manager
  • Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work with the public (all ages)
  • Professional demeanor and attire
  • Motivated to learn new skills
  • Hard working and energetic
  • Reliable and courteous
  • Ability to work alongside clients with disabilities
Canada Summer Jobs Requirements

  • Must be within 15 to 30 years of age (as per Canada Summer Jobs requirements)
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with a valid Social Insurance Number
  • Must be able to commit to full 8 weeks at 35 hours per week
